…orwise or nothing

Orwise believes in their social responsibility to the planet and its people. In 2017 we initiated our largest social responsibility project to date by working with local government to donate a 260m² children’s day care facility in Du Noon, an inform settlement less than 15km from Cape Town CBD. Situated along the N7 highway, orwise modular units will provide a safe and secure environment for nurturing the youth of tomorrow, today.

Orwise will be looking to place several modular classroom units on the proposed site, providing a sound and safe structure for the local community. The sponsored units will allow the local community to be actively involved in the running of the facility, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep. We will also look to employ local tradesmen for connectivity of electricity and plumbing, thereby creating additional jobs.

The community will also have the opportunity of their own job creation in the form of day care facilitators to operate and maintain the day care facility and to keep children safe and secure during the day, allowing their parents the security and freedom to work during the day.
